Reversible decisions

  • A lot of people think decision is a one way door, where when make a decision we can't go back
    • But this is simply not true. Many decisions is reversible
      • ~Example
        • When we decide to read a book, if we don't like it we can just stop reading the book and re-decide to read another book
        • It's also important to setup the decision we are making to be reversible.
          • ~Example
            • For example in software development, when we are releasing new feature, it's a good idea to put feature flag that is easily controlable.
              • So if the feature is not working great, we can turn off the feature safely without doing new deployment
